PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, Planning Commission for the Village of Lawton will hold a public hearing on Tuesday February 3, 2026, during a regular meeting of the Planning Commission commencing at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, located in the Village of Lawton at 125 S Main St., Lawton, MI 49065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on a Special Use Permit Application filed by Pin High Golf Course 1020 N Main St. Lawton, MI 49065 (PPN 80-45-700-029-01). Estimated size of the property is 53.59 acres. Applicant, Pin High Golf Course, filed this permit in order to consider alcohol sales to be allowed on premises, at the proposed club house to be built on the property, which is considered zoned Central Business District (CBD).
Copies of the Special Use Permit Application may be reviewed at the Village of Lawton Village Hall during its normal hours of operation. Written and verbal comments will be reviewed at the public hearing, and written comments may be submitted any time prior to the public hearing by sending comments to Village of Lawton Zoning Administrator Todd Hackenberg at P.O. Box 367, Lawton, MI 49065. All comments received will be made part of the hearing records.
