The Planning Commission for the Village of Lawton will hold a public hearing on November 4, 2025, during a regular meeting commencing at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, located in the Village of Lawton at 125 S Main St., Lawton, MI 49065
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment and consider the following proposed ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TABLES 5.02.A AND 5.03.A, AMEND
SECTION 5.04, ENACT SECTIONS 5.26, 5.27, AND 5.28, AMEND
SECTION 11.04, AND ENACT SECTIONS 11.13 – 11.17, AND AMEND
SUBSECTIONS 15.02(S) AND 15.02(W) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
FOR THE VILLAGE OF LAWTON
The proposed ordinance is a zoning text amendment concerning the regulation of wind turbines, solar panels, wireless communications facilities, and small cell wireless facilities.
Until the close of the public hearing or any adjournment thereof, the proposed ordinance may be obtained, inspected, copied, or reviewed at the Village Clerk’s Office during regular hours of operation or by appointment.
