NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED CELLULAR COMMUNICATION TOWER 29th Street & 3rd Street Parcel # 80-45-700-149-30
Dear Resident/Property Owner:
The Village of Lawton is providing notice of an upcoming public hearing regarding a Special use permit for a proposed cellular communication tower to be located near the corner of 29th Street and 3rd Street in the Village of Lawton.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide residents, neighboring property owners, and other interested parties with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed project and provide comments before a decision is made.

During the public hearing The Planning Commission will receive information regarding the proposed cellular tower and consider public comments related to the request. Residents and interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide comments.
Written comments may also be submitted prior to the public hearing and should be delivered or mailed to the Village of Lawton, 125 S. Main Street, Lawton, MI 49065. Written comments should be received no later than 5:00 pm October 2nd 2026_____ to ensure they are provided for consideration at the public hearing.
The Village encourages residents and neighboring property owners to participate in the public hearing process. No final decision has been made regarding the proposed cellular tower, and the public hearing is an opportunity for the community to provide input as part of the Village’s review process.
